Well, what a great weekend. As previously mentioned, I've been to various locations with some very talented friends to put together some acoustic videos with live acoustic recordings. It's been an honour.
Today we were at The Regal, in Evesham, which is an old 1930's cinema. It's currently being renovated, but its original glory still breathes on. Shooting in the projection room with machine's nearly twice the size of me was definitely a first. Bit's of film lying around, some still on the reels, with the likes of Nicholas Cage and Disney scenes on, along with all the traditional tools and bits of kit. Of course, as it's being renovated there's power, but no heating apparently. Finger-picking is fun when you're shaking like a leaf and are barely aware that your fingertips are still in existence.
Joe and i stuck around for another couple of hours to capture some shots of yours truly in the various rooms and stairways. By this point, feet were blue. Poor things. But it was more than worth it. Thanks to Lawrence for allowing us to use the cinema.
I was looking forward to getting home to warm my toes up. Instead, I've treated one of them to a battering. Somehow managed to virtually throw a dinner plate i was drying at my big toe. Let's call the toe... Tony.
Tony is throbbing.
Tony is now blue.
I think Tony is going to be bald soon.
The End.
