I wish i could play guitar in nice, warm gloves...

So, apparently i'm meant to actually update this blog thing reguarly. Let's see how that goes.

Well, today I've been on location for the filming of a couple of acoustic songs with Alex Clough & Neil Collins (the makers of the 'Insects' video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAIFQ6yURUw). Dave Draper (my producer http://www.track-in-the-box.co.uk) kindly joining us to record it all and Joe Singh (photographer http://www.snaprockandpop.co.uk) to.....be Joe Singh. I jest. He got some excellent shots, so no change there. Hadn't quite contemplated how hard it was going to be. Playing gentle songs in the freezing cold, trying not the shiver and ruin the take is pretty tough! Just about managed though.

It's nice to spend some time in the great outdoors with some great friends though. Been too long. Back to it again tomorrow, but this time we'll be indoors, However, it's a pretty derelict location, so no heat again. It's all good fun though, and i have no doubt that it'll have been worth it when i see the final videos. It's quite enjoyable playing strictly unplugged for a change, even if a little daunting being 'warts and all'. I'll pop the links up when they're ready. Shouldn't be too long at all.

Back to it, then....
Feel free to pop back some time, and feel free to pass my links onto a friend. Or seven.

Thanks,

Howard

Take two...

Well, about this time last year i decided/realised that I wasn't very good at this blogging milarky, but with the European tour supporting Maybeshewill starting tomorrow, now seems like as a good a time as any to give it another go. So, for starters, here's the new video for Luke Elliott's cracking remix of My Wrongs. The track features on the 12" vinyl which is out soon and features remixes for each track from Shelter Songs. The video has been put together by the very talented Mr. Alex Clough of Bad Crow Ltd. It comprises of footage from around he world filmed by his late and well-travelled grandfather, Peter Clough. I must admit, I love it.
